Derrick Poon Young is a cosmopolitan whose twenty-two years of corporate executive experience, including twelve years in an international business career, give him a particular grasp of the value of diversity and the power of collaboration. He brings to Cancer Computer diverse acumen in corporate development, strategic alliances, strategic planning and performance measurement, management consulting, mergers and acquisitions, IT project and portfolio management and business integration. He uses his enterprising business skills and experience to build organizational capacity of client companies and improve business performance of a variety of federal departments and private-sector companies and organizations. Mr. Poon Young is a graduate of Boston University and the University of Western Ontario with degrees in Political Science, Communications and International Political Economy. He has lectured at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and the University of Western Ontario in International Relations, Political Economy and International Law. Acknowledged for his community volunteerism, he donates time to several grassroots organizations which focus on youth and community development through sport by sharing his personal development experience as a former nationally ranked athlete across three disciplines in Trinidad and Tobago and Canada.

Janna Glenn is a veteran of the Ottawa marketing industry. With over 25 years of marketing experience, Ms. Glenn plays a valuable role as we build the Cancer Computer community. Janna is currently a managing partner at Karma Creative Solution, a full service marketing agency.
Ms. Glenn is a graduate of Algonquin College’s Creative Advertising program. She started her career in in the printing and graphic design discipline. She is an early adopter of technology and has been designing and building websites since the inception of the internet. Her career has evolved and she has had the benefit of working in both the private and not-for-profit industries.
Ms. Glenn is an avid volunteer and sits on the executive of the Orleans Photo Club. She also plays an integral role in the 65 Roses Gala and Uncork, for the Ottawa Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Janna is a mother of 3 active teenagers and spends much of her free time exploring the city’s nature paths with her camera.

Lawyer, Dong Law
Dong focuses her practice on real estate transactions. She represents both individuals and businesses in purchase, sale and mortgage transactions. Dong also advises clients in commercial matters, including incorporation, acquisitions, leasing and dispute resolution. She has represented clients in various courts and tribunals.
Over the years, Dong has accumulated experience in estate administration, will drafting, and trust setup, advising client on succession law and family law in relation to estate planning. Dong has worked for clients in uncontested divorce matters.
Dong originally came from China and is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. She acquired certificate as a Court Interpreter in 1990 for the Mandarin dialect. She studied at Carleton University and obtained her Master’s degree in Journalism in 1991. She went to University of Ottawa for her law studies and received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2007. She is currently enrolled in the professional L.L.M program at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

Dr. Gary H. Kramer is an internationally recognized leader in the field of Health Physics with over 200 publications in peer reviewed literature. He has spent the better part of an almost forty-year career in chemical kinetics, radiochemistry and health physics specializing in Internal Dosimetry, Bioassay and In Vivo Counting, which is the measurement of radioactivity within the human body. England-born, Dr. Kramer essayed a remarkable and productive research career at both Atomic Energy of Canada and Health Canada after graduating from Brighton College and the University of Sussex where he obtained graduate and post-graduate degrees in the field of Chemistry. An avid traveler and acquirer of unique international art and crafts, Dr. Kramer has been active in retirement as a much sought-after speaker and presenter. He and his wife have also built a successful business in the canine care and maintenance industry accumulating more than thirty years of experience in handling and training dogs.
