Tyler, Joanne, and Roy were honored to attend the 4th Workshop for International E-Infrastructures, at the 10th Penary of the Research Data Alliance (RDA) to discuss approaches on collaborative data for cancer research. David Schade from the NRC and Rob van der Meer from Astron NL, offered interesting approaches from the perspective of the astronomy domain. VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED! Cancer Computer is a registered charity and not for profit organization, since 2015. Our mission is to provide cancer researchers around the world, with high-performance computing resources, and technical consulting services, for the express purpose of advancing the scientific understanding of cancer; and, where this knowledge can be directly applied to: medical and public health education, treatment techniques, medicines, pre-clinical trials, experimental treatments, or to further research. Cancer Computer is looking for new Board members. The Board of Directors provides strategic direction to Cancer Computer that is in alignment with the mission and vision, ensuring excellent financial oversight, legal and ethical integrity, and overall accountability. The Board of Directors is a Policy Board, and the members perform not only their fiduciary and strategic duties, but also are called upon to support fundraising, brand building and community relations in support of Cancer Computer’s sustainability and growth.
