Roy Chartier

Founder / Chief Technology Officer

Roy Chartier has over 20 years of Information Technology engineering and team leadership experience in government and with large corporations, as well as solid business expertise in start-up environments. He began his career in programming neural networks for pattern recognition in vision and matured into a technology evangelist with enterprising foresight since the early emergence of the Internet. Adept at recognizing the transformative impact of technology, he has harnessed its potential to support the transition and growth of government clients and private sector companies from ecommerce, virtualization and the Cloud to big compute, big data, and data science. These represent the key ingredients for strategic results generation through high performance computing that will significantly impact our lives. Mr. Chartier has also written articles on microprocessors, system benchmarking, and computer operating systems for local, national and international trade publications. A graduate of Carleton University with a degree in Philosophy, Mr. Chartier passes his time traversing the night sky as an amateur astronomer when not hacking away at golf balls.
