Support Our Mission

Donate for the Cure

Cancer Computer is deeply grateful to every donor and our major patrons and ongoing sponsors.
We invite you to join them – and join us – as we compute for the cure!

Supercomputer for Cancer Research (Cancer Computer), is a volunteer-based organization based in Ottawa, Canada, offering services to researchers around the world. Cancer Computer believes that computers, directed by researchers and informatics professionals, will find the cure for cancer.

How You Can Help

With your help, we can accelerate the research that will find a cure.

Your gift will be used to fund the computing hardware, pay for collocation costs, electricity, and other expenses to promote and assist researchers in using the platform.

Tax receipts will be provided for donations over $50.

Our registration number with the Canada Revenue Agency is 821158524RR0001.

Donate Hardware

Donated hardware is reconditioned by the Cancer Computer IT team, and we make any required software, memory or other upgrades. We then work with other corporate partners who operate data centres, to deploy and then operate a ‘node’ of the high availability Cancer Computer cloud computing platform.

We issue tax receipts for hardware donations and host data centre partners’ operating costs associated directly with the Cancer Computer node(s).
