Folding@Home

Some heroes do not wear capes but run big data on their computers. Computing for Humanity provides High Performance Computing power to citizen scientists focused on the project Folding @ Home which embraces different angles of research primarily related to cancer, infectious and neurological diseases caused by protein misfolding and aggregation, and the development of medicines using computational simulations.
Open Science Grid

Computing for Humanity supplies resources to the Open Science Grid through servers for computational mining and modeling helping to faster data analysis. The research community operated by US-based academic, government, or non-profit organizations address their effort to the study of health issues as the adaptive immune system, neural circuit function, gene frequencies under a variety of environmental conditions among other challenging studies. Additionally, innovative studies introduce technology as a tool to analyze citizens behavior to implement public policies to collaborate with the society.
Rosetta@Home

We have been working closely with Rosetta @ Home to support their progress in predicting protein-protein docking, designing new proteins, and analyzing the interactions between proteins with other molecules that might lead to drug discoveries and cures for human diseases. Our effort as Computing for Humanity consists of offering researchers high-performance computing solutions. We provide a user-friendly and efficient interface to facilitate projects that would otherwise not be possible.
World Community Grid

Thousands of patience, an astronomical number of combinations, and a massive amount of computer power donated by Computing to Humanity are necessary to help scientists with their research efforts on topics such as health, poverty, and sustainability. Current studies are concentrated to simulate the behavior of molecules of the tuberculosis bacterium, identifying patterns of markers for different cancers, developing antiviral drugs to combat coronaviruses and other viruses with pandemic potential, and predicting accurate weather forecasts in sub-Saharan Africa.
